Paris - The Eiffel Tower will continue to sparkle - at least for a few more months. To celebrate the new millennium, the Paris landmark was covered in 20,000 light bulbs. The special effect was due to be switched off at the end of 2000, but it has proved such a hit that the mayor has decided not to pull the plug.
