"I tell you one thing. The common environment will not be Windows CE. There is not enough room for Ctrl-Alt-Del on many of these things (hand-held devices). Everyone talks about getting people connected to the Internet. But that's the simple part. There are only a few billion people or so. The difficult part is networking things." - After the CEO of Sun Microsystems, Scott McNealy, threw rocks at Microsoft's Windows CE operating system during his speech at the Consumer Electronics Show, his Web-connected cell phone controlling a digital home's functions couldn't get a signal and his Java-enabled networked coffee machine demo had to be aborted.
