London - The results of tests to establish whether E.coli bacteria found in a cheese sold at a Tesco supermarket is a dangerous strain will be known in about two days, a company spokesman said yesterday.

Tesco announced on Saturday that E.coli O157 had been found during routine tests on traditional Brie from Meaux bought at its store in Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne.
