Ten rescued from trawler off Dingle

Ten crew members were rescued from a French trawler after the vessel ran aground off the Co Kerry coast early this morning.

Ten crew members were rescued from a French trawler after the vessel ran aground off the Co Kerry coast early this morning.

The vessel, Concerto, was at the entrance to Dingle Harbour when it ran aground on rocks.

The LE Ciara and the Coastguard inshore lifeboat took the crew members ashore. The vessel was refloated this afternoon.
