The PSNI are investigating an incident in Lisburn last night in which a teenager was stabbed in the head during a vicious attack.
The victim, aged 18, was also stabbed several times in the body.
He was taken to hospital following the assault at Manor Park in Lisburn, Co Antrim, last night where his condition is described as stable.
No motive has been revealed, but detectives hunting the attacker have urged any witnesses to come forward.
A man has been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.
