Teenager killed in crash named

The young woman killed in a road traffic accident at Belurgan, Dundalk, on Wednesday night was yesterday named as Aileen Faulkner (17), Moneymore, Drogheda, Co Louth. She was a passenger in a car that collided head on with another car around 9.15 p.m. The driver of the car and the married couple in the second vehicle were taken to the Louth County Hospital where their condition was described as "stable" yesterday.
