An 18-year-old man was killed and four others injured when the car they were travelling in crashed in north Mayo just after midnight.
The dead man was a passenger in a car which appears to have lost control and left the road at Kiltean, Bangor Erris, Co Mayo at 12:40am.
The driver and three other passengers were injured and removed to Castlebar General Hospital.
The deceased who also was removed to Castlebar General Hospital has not been named.
