Teen arrested after €243,000 Limerick drug seizure

A male in his late teens was arrested in Limerick last night following the seizure of heroin worth an estimated €130,000.

A male in his late teens was arrested in Limerick last night following the seizure of heroin worth an estimated €130,000.

Amphetamine with an estimated street value of €113,000 was also recovered at the scene following the planned search by Gardaí of a house in Elm Place, Rathbane, Co Limerick.

The teenager, who was arrested at the scene is currently being detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
