A major branch of the Teachers' Union of Ireland has rejected the Partnership 2000 proposals, signalling possible further rejections by union branches. The Dublin City Post Primary Branch voted yesterday by an overwhelming majority to reject the proposals, arguing that they commit teachers to management change which had not been discussed or negotiated with teachers.
