Boxing:Katie Taylor will have to overcome home favourite Karolina Graczyk if she is to secure fourth successive European title after both fighters came through their semi-final this morning.

Up against England’s Chantelle Cameron, Taylor made short work of her opponent as she stormed to a 28-10 win this morning. She will now meet Poland’s Graczyk in tomorrrow’s final in Katowice.

While Taylor will be aiming for an 11th major gold medal since 2005, Laoise Traynor and Lauragh O'Neill will both have to make do with bronze after losing their semi-final bouts.

Marichelle De Jong was too strong for Traynor in the welterweight category while O'Neill struggled to stay in touch during her light-heavyweight contest with Timea Nagy.
