Katie Taylor has continued her domination of the European scene by adding another gold at the women’s EU Championships in Hungary, comprehensively outboxing Bulgaria’s Denica Eliseeva to take the lightweight final on a 16-1 scoreline.

It was a third straight gold at the tournament for the 24-year-old Bray boxer as she continues her preparations for next month’s World Championships in Barbados.

Taylor met Eliseeva in last year’s decider, winning 8-1, and she was in complete control of tonight’s final as she completed a 95th victory from 101 bouts stretching back to 2001.
