A European plan aimed at ensuring equality for people with disabilities is to be supported by Ireland, according to the Minister for Equality and Law Reform, Mr Taylor.
Mr Taylor was speaking at the presentation of four scholarships, worth £15,000 in total, by the National Rehabilitation Board. The projects receiving support include an analysis of the benefits of music therapy, a study of sign language, proposed intervention strategies for amputees and an examination of case law involving people with disabilities.
