The possibility that life on earth may have arrived from space will be discussed in a free public talk this Friday in Cork by noted astrobiologist, Prof Chandra Wickramasinghe, of the University of Cardiff.
New evidence suggests the earth receives 300 kg of micro-organisms from space every day, raising the possibility that this may have had a role in evolution.
The talk, "Are we all aliens" will be in Theatre IT3 at Cork Institute of Technology on Friday Oct 12th at 8 p.m. Places may be booked by contacting Dr Niall Smith at 021-432-6369 or by e-mail at nsmith@cit.ie
