1.Preventing homelessness: Greater support for those at risk of homelessness such as early school leavers, unemployed, people with mental illnesses and vulnerable families.

2.Eliminate the need to sleep rough: Ensure services designed for homeless people do not exclude those most in need of them.

3.Eliminate long-term homelessness: No one should be in emergency accommodation such as BBs for more than six months.

4.Meet long-term housing needs: Ensuring there is an adequate supply of social or rented housing, particularly for single-person households.

5.Effective services for homeless people: Ensure homeless services, such as street outreach, tenancy sustainment and day centres, move those at risk into sustainable housing.

6.Better co-ordinated funding: Extend the remit of the Homeless Agency in Dublin nationwide following a review.
