The Irish Independentnewspaper is to have a tabloid format following the sales success of its British counterpart, it was announced today.
A compact edition of the daily broadsheet will be published in Dublin next week .
Readers in the capital will have a choice of newspaper size as the tabloid will be sold alongside its broadsheet stablemate from Monday to Friday.
The two versions will contain the same stories, columnists and features and will be sold at the same price of €1.50.
