A SUV turned over outside the Abbey Theatre after colliding with a garda car in Dublin city centre this afternoon.
The grey Honda CR-V crashed into the patrol car at around 1pm and closed the red line Luas for a time.
The people in the Honda CR-V were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle along with the patrol car which was badly damaged were taken away for examination.
A garda spokesman said the collision had not been the result of a garda pursuit and they were treating it as a routine accident.
