A suicide car bomb that exploded at a police checkpoint in southern Baghdad today has killed at least three people and wounded eight, police said.
Insurgents have carried out a number of suicide bombings over the past two weeks.
On Saturday, 22 people were killed when two suicide bombers attacked a foreign security convoy in central Baghdad.
