The soymilk drink Bonsoy is being recalled by the Food Safety Authority as it has been found to contain high levels of iodine. This can affect the thyroid gland. The product is packaged in one litre Tetra packs and has a best-before date of up to and including November 3rd, 2011.

People are advised to dispose of the product or return it to the shop where it was bought.
