Paris - One of France's most renowned universities, the Sorbonne, has been criticised by several top scientists for awarding a doctorate to an astrologer whose thesis was described as worthless.
In a report made public this month, the scientists attacked the university for awarding the degree to Ms Elizabeth Teissier, saying her thesis "lacks any sociological basis".
