Man seriously injured in Enniscorthy road collision

A man in his 20s was seriously injured last night after the car he was travelling in struck a wall in Enniscorthy.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following the incident which occurred at about 9.15 last night on the R702 at Bellefield in Enniscorthy.

The man was taken by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital.

Local diversions are in place while Garda forensic collision investigators examine the scene.
