Smithfield Plaza will be spilling over with joie de vivre next weekend when it is transformed into Dublin's French Quarter for the city's annual Bastille Day celebrations.
From Friday morning until Sunday night, the plaza will be full of all things French from music to food, with some theatre and even acrobatics squeezed in between.
A special market will feature such delicacies as foie gras and sauiscson as well as cheeses, olives, jams, mustards, speciality breads, biscuits and freshly-made crepes.
French craft goods will also be on display with leathers, lavender and soap.
The entertainment highlight, according to organisers Dublin City Council, will be "Mobile Homme" on Friday night at 9.30pm.
It will feature an "aerial spectacular" performed by the cast of French Theatre company Transe Express.
Members of the cast will fly through the air on trapezes, while playing drums, suspended from a crane over the plaza.
Musicians include French trio Derrière La Cravate, who will entertain the crowds from 10am to 5pm on Saturday with their unique renditions of the songs of classic French artists from Jacques Brel to Edith Piaf. Drama group the Living History Team, from Armagh, will perform historical re-enactments in Smithfield and outside City Hall on Dame Street and the Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square.
Entertainment for children will be provided throughout the weekend by clowns, face painters, balloon modellers, interactive French-themed performers and bouncy castles.
Bastille treasure hunts will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.
