Rather than hold the usual sort of between-season sale to dispose of slow-moving stock, Octavius Fine Wines in Sligo is heading into wine's high season with a very different sort of event. Starting today, Michael Gramsch's autumn sale will have a different theme every week for six weeks - France, Italy, Australia, Spain and Portugal and so on - with at least half of the shop's entire stock in the relevant sections offered at discounts of at least 20 per cent.
