Tunis - Four British tourists, including two children, and two Tunisians died of carbon monoxide poisoning in the seaside resort of Sousse, a British source said here yesterday.

Two women and the two daughters of one of the women were found dead along with their Tunisian hosts on Wednesday at a villa in Khzama, just outside Sousse.

Police blamed the deaths on a faulty water heater.

They did not give the names of the victims but said the girls were aged 12 and 13.
