Ireland made a late change to the starting XV to take on Italy at Croke Park with injured lock Donncha O’Callaghan making way for Leo Cullen.

Italy coach Nick Mallett has kept faith the side that beat Samoa in Ascoli in the autumn, meaning Australian-born Craig Gower starts at outhalf.

England centre Riki Flutey has been ruled out of tomorrow’s clash with Wales after suffering a thigh injury in training. He has been replaced in the starting XV by Toby Flood with Shontayne Hape added to the replacements.
