Six people, including two children, were taken to hospital last night following a crash on the M1 motorway in the north.
The accident, involving a lorry and several cars, happened between Lurgan and the M12 at about 6 p.m. An RUC spokeswoman said it took more than two hours to cut the injured from one of the cars. Two of the injured were described as "seriously ill".
