Kampala - At least six people died when Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels attacked and burned a passenger bus in northern Uganda yesterday. Aid agencies confirmed the attack, but said they had no details on the number of dead or injured, most of whom have been admitted to a hospital in Kitgum town.

It was the second rebel ambush in Kitgum in two days after two people were reported by aid agencies to have been killed in an attack on a vehicle on Sunday.
