LONDON - A life saving mercy mission to combat leukaemia has reunited sisters who were "at war" because one of them could not face going to hospital. After three years apart they are now preparing to visit a clinic together so that a transfusion procedure can begin.

Ms Angela Latham (34) is desperately ill with leukaemia but her sister, Ms Susan Squires (39) had refused to donate bone marrow for a transplant because of her fear of hospitals. She has now agreed to undergo a procedure - at a clinic - after meeting her sister's consultant.
