Shoppers in Dublin's Grafton Street next Thursday afternoon should watch out for a motley group singing carols in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital. FF Senator Frank Chambers has circulated his colleagues in Leinster House, asking them to join him on the day: music sheets are available.

Politicians have been known to break into a bar or two late of an evening but whether they will parade their sensitive souls in the centre of Dublin next week remains to be seen.
