A number of shots were fired early this morning at a house in Limerick.
The shooting took place just after midnight at College Avenue in Moyross.
No injuries were reported, and a Garda spokesman said it is not known if there was anybody in the house.
The shooting comes just weeks after ambitious plans were unveiled to radically transform the Moyross and Southill estates.
The scheme includes proposals to rebuild Moyross, in the northside of the city, and a significant part of the Southill and Ballinacurra Weston estates in the south.
