Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an incident during which shots were fired through the window of a house in Drimnagh, west Dublin.

The incident occurred at about 12.25am when a shot was fired through a ground floor window at a house on Sperrin Road.

Two women, aged 42 and 58 years old, who were in the house at the time, were uninjured.
