Two men involved in an armed raid on Hacketts bookmakers' shop on Tyrconnell Road in Inchicore, Dublin, yesterday
escaped on a motorcycle in the direction of Bluebell Avenue after firing a shotgun. They had to make their getaway on foot after their motorcycle cut out. The raid occurred at around 12.30 p.m. No one was injured and the scene was preserved by the Garda.
