Gardaí in Kilmainham have begun an investigation after a number of shots were fired at a house in Basin Street last night.
The shots were fired into the bedroom window and front door of the house at about 1.30 a.m. Nobody was injured in the shooting.
Gardaí are investigating reports that a car was seen speeding away from the area.
