Senator Margaret Cox (FF) of Galway has urged for immediate Garda action on apparently indiscriminate violence against innocent victims in many towns and cities. "It seems people are not getting enough of a kick out of drink, or even drugs any more. They have to go out and get involved in a violent attack on some innocent person," she said.
