You have heard of a message in a bottle, but how about sending a message into space? Take an opportunity to broadcast a message directly to the exoplanet or star system of your choice.

The radio frequency message goes out via CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory’s radio dish. Go to the website sciencespace.ie and then follow the directions to sign up and have your own message beamed into the vastness of space.

You book a time on the radio dish and reserve it in half hour blocks. These are targeted messages, so you choose what direction you want it to go. Say hello to ET while you are online.
