Michael Schumacher could retire when his contract with Ferrari ends in 2004, his manager said today.
"Michael doesn't know if he wants to continue driving [after that date]," Willi Weber told German press agency SID.
But Ferrari are hoping to offer the German driver a two-year contract extension.
Schumacher collected his fifth world title this summer. He finished second behind team-mate Rubens Barrichello in yesterday’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
