Michael Schumacher of Germany, driving a Ferrari, won the U.S. Formula One Grand Prix today.
World championship rival Kimi Raikkonen of Finland finished second in a McLaren to keep the title race alive going into the final race at Suzuka in Japan on October 12th.
Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya was edged out of the title race after he incurred a time penalty following an incident, after which, Schumacher's teammate Rubens Barrichello was forced to retire. Ferrari's hopes of winning the constructor's championship also took a dent as a result.
