Julio Cesar Caceres is suspended and Antolin Alcaraz returns to the side after injury.

Paraguay:Villar, Bonet, Da Silva, Alcaraz, Morel Rodriguez, Vera, Ortigoza, Riveros, Santa Cruz, Barrios, Benitez.

Japan:Kawashima, Komano, Nakazawa, Tanaka, Nagatomo, Matsui, Abe, Endo, Hasebe, Honda, Okubo.

Referee:Frank De Bleeckere (Belgium)
