Ryanair will open its first operational base in Scandinavia at the Skavsta airport outside of Stockholm, the airport said today.

Ryanair planned six new international routes out of the airport besides the current routes between Skavsta and Hahn in Frankfurt and Stansted in London. It would base three new planes at the Skavsta hub from April 4th, Skavsta airport said.

New routes would be to Lubeck, close to Hamburg; Beauvais/Paris; Oslo; Tampere in Finland; Arhus in Denmark and Prestwick airport at Glasgow.
