Ryanair to open base at Leeds Bradford

Ryanair said today it plans to open its 34th base at Leeds Bradford in March 2010, offering 63 weekly return flights.

Ryanair said today it plans to open its 34th base at Leeds Bradford in March 2010, offering 63 weekly return flights.

The company said it plans to base two aircraft there and claims the investment is worth over $140 million to the airport.

According to the airline the move will lead to an additional 1 million passengers to the airport and could lead to the creation of up to 1,000 jobs in the region.
