Ryanair founder Tony Ryan is planning a new budget airline in Mexico, it was revealed today.

Ryanair founder Tony Ryan is planning a new budget airline in Mexico, it was revealed today.

The Ryan family plans to team up with a Mexican bus company to set up the low-cost airline, AeroBus, which will begin flying later this year.

The new airline expects to carry up to 1.5 million passengers each year and is expected to fly into major Mexican cities and some in the United States.

Mexico is Latin America's second biggest civil aviation market.
