Rushdie `fatwa' backed in UK

LONDON - The new leader of the Muslim Parliament of Great Britain yesterday reaffirmed its support for the fatwa against Salman Rushdie. Dr Muhammad Ghayasuddin said there would be "no joy" for the author.
