THE RUC is treating as suspicious the death of a young man whose body was found near an old railway bridge at Fair Green in Keady, Co Armagh. However, police do not suspect a crime in the discovery of three other bodies in the North.

The partially clothed body of Mr Paul McGleenan (20), from Crossmore Green, Keady, was found yesterday afternoon. Some of his missing clothing were later located in the area.

Detectives are trying to determine if there is a link between his death and a disturbance on New Year's Night at a bar owned by his brother. It is understood Mr McGleenan was not involved in the bar incident.

In Lisburn, the bodies of a woman in her 70s and her son in his early 40s, were discovered after concerned neighbours raised the alert yesterday morning.

They lived in a Housing Executive home which was to be modernised. The mother and son had said they did not want the house refurbished and members of the Housing Executive had called to the house recently, but got no response. Neighbours said they were an independent couple who kept to themselves.
