RUC hunts for two tonnes of stolen cheese

The RUC has appealed to the public in its search for a large quantity of cheese that was stolen from a creamery in Co Tyrone.

The RUC has appealed to the public in its search for a large quantity of cheese that was stolen from a creamery in Co Tyrone.

An RUC spokeswoman said two tonnes of cheese - valued at over £5,000 - were taken from a coal shed during a burglary at the creamery on Crossowen Road in Dungannon.

The raid took place sometime on Tuesday evening or yesterday morning, she said.
