The RUC today called off the search of two houses for the bodies of two West Belfast boys who disappeared 27 years ago.

The RUC today called off the search of two houses for the bodies of two West Belfast boys who disappeared 27 years ago.

The search for John Rodgers (13) and Thomas Spence (11) at numbers 50 and 56 Rodney Drive in the Falls area of Belfast ended without recovering the bodies.

Det Supt John Short said that although this phase of the inquiry was over, investigations would continue.

The RUC have stressed the current occupants of the houses are not connected to the investigation over the disappearances. PA
