Colombo - Sinhalese groups want Britain's royal family to apologise for the killing of hundreds of Sri Lankans during British rule before Prince Charles is allowed to visit next month to mark 50 years of independence. The Federation of Buddhist Organisation said in a statement yesterday Prince Charles's participation in a ceremony at a place where Sri Lankans were killed was an insult to the nation.
