Irish householders could save over £75 million a year by using energy efficiently, according to architect Mr Duncan Stewart, who is leading an Energy Awareness Roadshow next week. He said replacing ordinary light bulbs with compact fluorescent lamps could save £28 million nationally, while lagging hot-water cylinders could save almost £12 million.

As part of Energy Awareness Week the roadshow will visit Galway, Ballina, Tralee, Tullamore and Wexford between September 24th and September 30th.
