Claudio Reyna completed his £4 million move from Rangers to Sunderland today, according to the English club's website.
It is reported he underwent a medical and signed before the noon deadline to be eligible for Sunderland's home match against Chelsea on Sunday.
The captain of the US national team played for Rangers in last night's UEFA Cup game against Paris St Germain in Paris.
