Friends of the family of Raonaid Murray are offering a reward for information leading to the conviction of her killer. It is believed the reward could be as high as £30,000.
Ms Murray was murdered on September 3rd last in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. She was 17. Following developments in the investigation of her murder, gardai have also issued a new artist's sketch of a man they believe was with her on the night she was killed.
Gardai at Dun Laoghaire station wish to speak to anyone who may have seen Raonaid at 11.53 p.m. on September 3rd, at the junction of Corrig Road/ Corrig Avenue talking to a man in his early 20s. He is described as being 5 ft 10 in, 25 years of age, of slim, athletic build with blond hair. He was wearing light-coloured combats and a brown/beige roundneck jumper. Gardai described the clothes as "worn but trendy".
Hundreds of witnesses have been interviewed in the course of the investigation but none has produced any firm clues.
A television reconstruction of the route Ms Murray took home on the night of her murder had only a limited response from the public. Friends of Ms Murray have said she was very popular and had no known enemies.
She was stabbed repeatedly but was neither robbed nor sexually assaulted. Two men have also been questioned by gardai, one of them a resident of Dun Laoghaire. The other man was from the west and was working in the town at the time of the murder.
