Review of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All on the Heineken Green Spheres stage at Oxegen today.

Atmosphere: One of the most exciting and controversial acts in the world take to an Irish stage for the first time with their main man, XL-signed Tyler, The Creator in a leg cast playing to about 2,000 (mainly) blokes with their hands in the air. In other words, the complete opposite of The Saturdays.

High: Tyler may be physically incapacitated but there's still a unique electricity to what Odd Future bring.

Low: The general disjointed messiness of much of the set with every few sentences punctuated by "bitch". And the rest of the weekend for the poor guy who lost his welly half way through.

Quote of the set: "I like this crowd. It's small, but everyone is hype as fuck."

Overall: Thankfully more Wu Tang than D12, but no matter how many times it's tried, it's so hard for a large rap ensemble to work in a festival setting. The sting was taken out of of Tyler's tail. Their upcoming show in the Academy should be much more to savour.
