Resurgent jobs markets boosts CPL profits

During the year CPL said it provided long- or short-term work assignments to over 10,000 people and we placed over 1,750 people in permanent employment. Net fee income was €13.26 million.

CPL chief executive Ms Anne Heraty said all the company had expanded its client base by winning new business and all of its divisions experienced significant growth.

Ms Heraty pointed the company was able to generate positive cash-flows despite the costs of expansion through a combination of tight cost control, managing working capital and the cash generative nature of the group's mix of services.

The net cash balance at June 30th was €5.3 million.
